Digital Image Correlation(DIC)은 한국어로 "디지털 영상 상관 기법"이며 디지털 카메라로 재료 또는 구조물의 변형 전과 후의 사진을 촬영하고 영상분석 기법을 통하여 전체 영역의 변위/변형률을 측정하는 기법이다. 하나의 디지털 카메라로 측정하는 기법을 2D-DIC 기법이라고 하고 시편의 면내 변위만 측정이 가능하며 두대의 카메라를 사용하여 측정하는 기법을 3D-DIC 라고하며 구조물의 3차원 변형/변위를 측정할 수 있다.

DIC 기법은 1980년대 초 Sutton의 논문에서 처음 소개되었다.
