Therefore, he offered to resign on the 25th, just one day before his official inauguration, and on the same day, President Yoon Suk Yeol canceled his appointment.

Bribery - On April 21, 2017, he received 700,000 won from Ahn Tae-geun, former director of the Ministry of Justice's prosecution bureau. This case violated the anti-graft law. But the conclusion was all exonerated. The indictment was that he delivered a meal and an envelope containing 1 million won each to two officials of the Ministry of Justice at the dinner to provide money and valuables worth 1,095,000 won per person. However, the court divided meals and bags of money to determine whether the crime was committed, and considered that the head of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and the prosecutors of the Ministry of Justice were in a vertical relationship due to their duties.
